Day three... snow day

Started off with rain, which became snow. Once the sun came out, we were blessed with snow kissed mountains. Allie was a little sad today when she realized one cannot wear socks on wet gravel. She had a vision of putting on he shoes outside while sitting on the picinic table. Bad move.

She is still requiring between 2 and 3 wardrobe changes each day. Not based on weather.

Got the RV batteries changed and I have to agree with Ron, it is very suspicious that all three failed at once. I have been waiting for a husband's confession but it has not been forth coming. We did have a great time with Daniel at the autozone for well over an HOUR while it got sorted out.

We spent three hours at the Cortez indoor aquatic center, water temp 87* with water slides, lazy river and water that was 87*. Who are we kidding here? I went to soak for three hours in warmth.

Rented RV, the movie with Robin Williams and popped some corn. I have sat through that movie probably a half dozen times with the kids and each time, they laugh harder. This time, I had tears, actual tears, from laughing so hard. Jay thinks I laugh so much b/c it's the dad that get sprayed with pooh. And yes, there are some memories in this bus centered around a certain untamable smell in the not too distant past that he had to deal with. And yes, there were many a time we had to ride with windows down to keep our eyes from watering. And, yes, there was that one day, he was driving and convinced ME to use my sniffer to try to figure out where the smell was coming from and then to use safeway bags to try to plug up the hole I found to try to stop it. We thought we finally had it licked, only to take a day trip, return to the bus to discover the smell had not gone, instead, we were just getting used to it. So, RV will always be a favorite movie!

Kai, the old girl, is doing great and even got a little frisky in the grass chasing Jay Jay!
